The Garment:
I just recently picked up these Kermit Green Khaki culottes from my local Salvation Army. They caught my eye because the color seemed happy and playful, and the cut is super oversized and comfortable. Here are 3 different ways I styled these culottes.

Look 1: Gallery Opening Night in Brooklyn

Playing with colors and patterns is a signature look for me; it reminds me not to take myself seriously.

I wanted to wear this color-blocked vintage tote, but I also wanted to stay warm, so I pulled out my candy stripe vintage dress coat and lace-up, heel boots which elevated my culottes to a dresser look for a gallery opening night. It’s artsy, playful, and smart.

Look 2: Evening Movie Screening at the Park

I love attending movie screenings outside in the park, I normally arrive when the sun is setting. My goal is always to feel comfortable enough to take a seat on my blanket and have shoes that I can easily remove when I need to get extra comfy. Here we have a lettuce edge nude bodysuit, layered with a Tom & Jerry T-Shirt, Vintage wool plaid tailored blazer, and velcro spice girl stacked sneakers.

Look 3: Work Look

This is a classic look that I wear when meeting clients; leather is becoming more and more an essential piece to my wardrobe. I found this Buttercup leather blazer jacket at a stoop sale maybe three seasons ago, the color keeps me happy it’s not too bright, but it’s almost like a neutral; I love it. My Nina Z wooden sandals are such a Brooklyn thing, so anytime I can pull them out and dress them up, I do. When working with clients, I dress slightly casual but not too casual, so the leather elevates the look, the wooden shoe is grounding, and the knee-high ruffle socks are playful.
