Style Secret/Advice: Style is not limited to masculine or feminine pieces nor should your wardrobe. Broadening your options will allow room for creativity and will help you find your unique style.

The garment: I wanted to highlight a piece that fits androgyny (the mix of masculine and feminine). Vests are a universal clothing item anyone can wear! I want everyone to feel comfortable styling pieces in their wardrobe.

Look One

I wanted a casual fall look for a trip to the local coffee shop. For a casual look I styled the grey vest with high waisted jeans and a varsity jacket. This look seems effortless by adding the varsity jacket; it adds a casual sleekness to this style.

Look Two

Business casual was a style I struggled with for years! To make this vest work appropriate, I paired this with khakis and a maroon Button up shirt. The warm colors are perfect for a fun fall look at my desk!

Dressing up is a little hard for me. Tight fitted button ups make my chest area visible. For someone who prefers an androyngous look, I want to hide my chest. Adding a vest to a white button up and black slacks is a great way to hide the chest area. This outfit was perfect to meet clients and make a good first impression.
