Eleonora Volpe is a fine artist, creative director and noted fashion stylist with a focus on sustainable brands and vintage. She is now launching her own sustainable creative brand called EV STYLE: a series of pieces of reworked garments that bridge art and fashion. For the shoot Eleonora called upon her creative friends to model. They share with us the experience of working with and wearing the designs of EV STYLE.
About EV STYLE Collection
The inspiration behind the designs has been Brooklyn and it’s unique style and in particular the fun and inclusivity behind the freedom of expression through clothes.
I believe clothes should embody our values and be able to shine our personalities. In my creative point of view I want to empower women of all ages and backgrounds to be free and play. In the collection I have incorporated what I have learned working 10 years as a stylist to create movement and unexpected fits and patterns. Every piece has been handpicked from vintage stores and reworked with art and sustainability as their main core.
The editorial as a consequence wanted to highlight the same values: sustainability, equality, freedom, fun, friendship and art. The models were shot in a very intimate setting and they were left free to dance around and feel the clothes. The shots came out in a very spontaneous way, I couldn’t have asked for a better team, the positive vibration immediately comes through in the pictures.
The pieces from this first EV STYLE collection are now available for sale at ART TO WARE inside the Oculus in NYC and LAGOON NY in Brooklyn

Ashley Rose Nicholas + Kate russell
As a dancer, wearing pieces that invite versus restrict movement is always important to me.
But realistically it can be difficult to find clothes that meet this criteria and are also beautiful, high-quality garments. So wearing pieces that were all this plus hand/made and sustainable? Nothing short of magical to me. –Kate

Wearing Eleonora’s clothes was such a fun experience. I felt beautiful and sexy. The way she combined the garments and assigned them to different personalities made total sense. I was really inspired by her designs and actually told her I wanted to explore different styles for myself, and she answered that it is just a matter of doing it, playing with the clothes and styling them . She’s passionate and knows what she is doing, and she totally transmits that in her designs. –Sofia Diaz

My mission in life is to create a more equitable and sustainable world. It brings me great joy to know that the clothes I wore that day serve as a visible representation of the values I uphold. Eleonora’s collection is full of bold, beautiful pieces that are eye-catching, but when you look behind the current and begin to unpack the intention she put into her work, don’t be surprised if her purpose-driven creations also manage to pull on your heart strings. The world needs more artists like Eleonora. –Kim

I’m passionate about sustainable practices and meaningful connections. Wearing reworked garments with an artistic flair by Eleonora Volpe feels like wrapping myself in creativity and purpose. Each piece tells a story of sustainability and style, blending eco-consciousness with unique, wearable art. There’s nothing quite like feeling good about what you wear, knowing it’s also kind to the Earth. –Amanda
I think the whole collection and feeling of the clothes was very free spirited. Everything was handpicked by Eleonora based on how she felt at the moment, and each picture was just an organic capture of us playing in the clothes. The second set I wore was a fabric print from her paintings, and the feeling really came through that we were wearing, and embodying self expression. I never like to feel restricted and the clothes reflected that. It was the most fun I’ve ever had in a fashion shoot. –Salomé
