Beauty blogs and websites are filled with articles and comments claiming various products are the “holy grail” of x, y or z. Meaning the perfect product you’ve been looking for all your life. Here at No Kill Magazine to say that we expect our beauty to be “clean” and cruelty free is a no brainer. We have no interest in putting ingredients on our skin that “might” cause cancer or “interrupt” our hormones. (What does that even mean? We thought once-a-month periods were enough hormonal havoc, thank you very much!)
And then let’s talk about packaging for a minute. Why make products that are good for your skin but put them in packaging that’s bad for the planet?
And lastly, we can’t ignore price. While we fully believe in “buy less, buy better” we don’t think this should mean a basic face cleanser that gets washed down the drain should be seventy six or more dollars.
So we’ve been left to cherry pick products. A cleanser from one brand, an exfoliator from another and maybe a home-made face mask while on a Netflix binge.
Just 4 products for beautiful skin
Which is why we’re thrilled to discover HEAR ME RAW –a new skincare line with just four products: The Brightener, The Detoxifier, the Clarifier and the Hydrator. We’re going to break down what’s great about all of them below. But first an FYI – like many of our best discoveries this one was through a friend. The BRIGHTENER WITH CHLOROPHYLL++
What it does: Gives you healthy, revitalized, brighter skin
How it does it: With 16 powerful natural ingredients including: Chlorophyll, the energy source for all living things, Spirulina and Lemon Peel to oxygenate the skin. Lactic Acid, Phytic Acid and Bakuchiol to exfoliate the skin. Matcha Green Tea and Swiss Cress Sprout Extract to protect the skin.
How to use it: Apply to clean dry skin, covering your face and neck. Leave on for 10-15 minutes. You’ll feel a tingle right away. Then wash off.

How to use it: Apply to clean dry skin, covering your face and leave on for 15 minutes or until almost dry. Then, rub off in large circles to further exfoliate and wash off any excess.

THE CLARIFIER WITH FRENCH GREEN CLAY
What it does: Gives you naturally clean, healthy, clarified skin
How it does it: With French Green Clay, a natural anti-bacterial absorption agent, Sea Kelp and Turmeric which soothe and are anti-inflammatory. Zinc Oxide and Neem Leaf Powder which clarify and Avocado Oil to soothe.
How to use it: Apply to clean dry skin, covering your face and leave on for 15 minutes or until almost dry. Then, rub off in large circles to further exfoliate and wash off any excess.
THE HYDRATOR WITH PRICKLY PEAR
What it does: Gives you naturally healthy, hydrated, radiant skin
How it does it: With Prickly Pear (Cactus Flower) which uses the cacti succulent root and tissue system to retain hydration, Maqui Berry which is high in anti-oxidants and Coconut Water, Cucumber and Watermelon Oil which hydrate, detoxify and helps maintain skin elasticity.
How to use it: Use as a day cream or night cream, after any Hear Me Raw product or alone.
