At New York Fashion Week, Moshe Yossel unveiled its Fall/Winter 2025 collection, Overture: Foundational Tension, in an installation that felt closer to an art exhibition than a runway. Garments were placed throughout the space like considered objects, inviting guests to move slowly and take in their construction. The format underscored the brand’s philosophy: clothing built with permanence in mind.
The collection marked a defining moment for Moshe Yossel, establishing the architecture of the brand through uniform silhouettes, deliberate materials, and a quiet insistence on longevity over trend. Neutral tones—rooted in designer Zachary Fuller’s heritage and influenced by WWII menswear—created a visual language that felt both timeless and deeply personal. Staples such as lightweight cotton tanks and sharply tailored coats were joined by statement pieces like the Heritage jacket, a denim-and-leather hybrid that nods to craftsmanship and reinvention.
Materials are central to the label’s ethos. Everything is traceable and sourced with intention, from Tuscan leather to cotton twill linings chosen over the industry’s standard synthetics. The presentation itself took place where the clothes are made, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to transparency and craft.
“The name of the brand is actually my name in Hebrew,” founder and designer Zachary Fuller shared with us. “It comes back to my mother’s side, my grandparents. I grew up in a family of tradespeople—electricians, carpenters—and always thought I’d be an architect. When I found clothing, it became the perfect way to channel that creativity into something tangible.”
With Foundational Tension, Moshe Yossel positions itself not just as an emerging label but as a designer’s blueprint for enduring, intentional fashion.
