The designer’s Fall/Winter 2025 show

Sam Finger’s “24 HRS” Fall/Winter 2025 collection, showcased in the gritty basement of Ella Funt (in true Sam Finger avante garde), captures the relentless rhythm of a full day compressed into a series of moments, from the mundane to the sublime.
Model Blaire Wozniak opened the show in a second-skin mesh set, layered with found fur and a wig accessory, setting the tone for a collection that blurred the lines between intimacy and performance. Xandra Hafermann followed in a jersey club dress and no-body hoodie, reinforcing Finger’s signature fusion of raw sensuality and urban grit. Fabiana Love made an impression in a sporty cut-out dress, stumbling slightly as she clutched a water jug—a tongue-in-cheek nod to the chaos of a 24-hour cycle.
Menswear, though understated, played into Finger’s commitment to gender-fluid styling. Luke Gez walked in a “Key to NY” tank, “ALMOST” briefs, and ear muffs, delivering a laid-back, streetwear-driven take on the collection’s themes. The standout finale featured Rio Polzin in a snake-like gown constructed from old linens and found leather, closing the show with a look that embodied both decay and rebirth. “I feel amazing in this piece,” Polzin told No Kill. “Sam was really exploring themes of sex, intimacy, and queerness, and as a queer person, I really feel that.”
Finger, who has built a reputation for casting queer models and centering his collections around identity and self-expression, summed up his vision succinctly”I want to feel free, unafraid, and excited for what they could do in 24 hours.” His post-show reflections—”I feel great, alive, and the show was fierce”—matched the energy of a collection that was as much about movement as it was about the clothes themselves.
Sam Finger’s design ethos continues to evolve, drawing heavily from his experiences and personal journey, marked by a commitment to pushing boundaries and embracing a spectrum of identities.
24 HRS was a testament to the beauty of the in-between moments—the rush, the recovery, the unpredictability of it all. Sam Finger isn’t just designing garments; he’s distilling the messiness of life into fashion that refuses to be ignored.
