Discover the Safe, Sustainable Comfort of Subset Innerwear & Their Petal Collection for Spring

Subset is truly non-toxic.

As someone deeply concerned about the environmental impact and health implications of what I buy, I’ve always been wary of toxic dyes and synthetic fabrics. So it’s been a challenge to find underwear that feels safe and comfortable—which is why I was excited to discover Subset. Their commitment to using organic, non-toxic materials resonated with my desire for apparel that not only looks good but also respects the planet and my skin. It was a relief to learn that all of Subset’s products are free from harmful chemicals like heavy metals, carcinogens, PFAs, and VOCs. This discovery was a game changer for me, as I always strive to make conscious choices that align with my values.

Beyond their meticulous attention to health and safety, Subset partners with Supercircle on a pioneering intimate recycling program. This initiative encourages customers to return their worn-out intimates, which Subset via Supercircle diverts from landfills. I am openly skeptical about claims of textile recycling and we should never use it as an excuse for buying more. That being said, everything I’ve found about Supercircle implies they’re legit. And intimates aren’t something we can donate!

Subset claims they’ve recycled over a million items, transforming them into materials for furniture batting and carpet pads. Currently, they are advancing towards achieving fiber-to-fiber recycling, aiming for a fully circular supply chain that further minimizes environmental impact. The effort alone makes me value them more.

Subset started in 2018 under the name ‘Knickey’, focusing exclusively on organic cotton intimates. The evolution into Subset in 2023 marked a significant expansion to include a broader range of essential wear—from loungewear to maternity items, all designed to enhance daily life without compromising on environmental responsibility.

This spring, Subset has introduced the beautiful new Petal color. This delicate lavender shade is the brand’s first venture into pastels. It’s designed to add a touch of serene elegance to your wardrobe, perfectly adding a little springtime to your options.

The Petal hue isn’t just beautiful; it represents a thoughtful extension of Subset’s mission to provide sustainable and safe fashion. Each piece is crafted from certified organic cotton and adheres to the strictest environmental and health standards set by GOTS, Oeko-Tex, and Fair Trade certifications.

And to celebrate the launch, there will be a sitewide promotion for orders over $99, you’ll receive a free Saie Lip Blur Lipstick (Valued at $24) included in your purchase!
