Style Advice

The best style advice I could give is that clothes should fit YOU, not the other way around. Wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident. Another piece of advice I’ve used is if you want to step out of your comfort zone, take baby steps. For example, if you want to mix colors, start with adding color in your accessories, then move up to your clothes by mixing 2 colors, then 3, etc.

I have many. I have always loved Gwen Stefani and Carrie Bradshaw (from Sex and the City) and recently I’ve l fallen in love with Zendaya.

WHY I PICKED THIS Neon windbreaker TO STYLE

I thrifted this neon windbreaker at crossroads and instantly knew I wanted to style it. I love finding different ways to wear what I have to keep my clothes feeling new. And one of the ways is by dressing up what might be thought of as a casual or in this case, sporty piece.

Look One: Casual

I wanted to pair the windbreaker in a casual way, like what you might wear to go run errands or go to the park. I went with cropped jeans, a neutral turtleneck and then added pink sneakers to add an extra pop of color and the white bag. Every piece in this look was thrifted.

Look Two: EDGY

I wanted to dress up this windbreaker and give it an edgier look, so I paired it with this mid length black skirt, the geometric print button down, booties and then added the belted corset over it. Every piece in this look was thrifted minus the green purse.

Look Three: Just. SO. FUN.

I love color blocking and adding this knit turquoise sweater vest over the windbreaker gave it a fun unique look. And then pairing it with this orange skirt just added to the fun, playful look. I think this was my favorite of the three. Every item in this look was thrifted.
