OUR FAVORITE SPRING BAGS
This season symbolizes rebirth, renewal, and reinventing your wardrobe. We have rounded up 6 bags that will transform your outfit to embrace vibrancy and joy –seriously!
You know we’re major fans of cactus leather (or if you didn’t, now you do!). This small tote by Angela Roi has great details –including a large zipper pouch inside that could double as a clutch!
This plant-based vegan leather started out on an organic ranch in Mexico, where it was grown without irrigation, hand-harvested, and sun-dried. Like their other products, Cacta is cruelty-free and sweatshop-free.
COPERNI Swipe Bag is one of the brand’s most coveted products. For this collaboration a new, entirely sustainable approach was taken to its production. Crafted in Italy, the bag is made using apple skin – a sustainable alternative to leather. It also comes with a detachable body strap, to wear as a crossbody or a tote, as well as 5 mini detachable pins inspired by fruit label stickers. Despite the infamous mini shoulder bag hitting all the headlines, Coperni has certainly become a favorite among the It girls whether you are on the go or on a night out!
For the upcycling edit BY FAR’s design team created six new ‘Mini Rachel’ bags, made entirely out of pre-loved BY FAR bags bought from the Vestiaire Collective website, as well as their own old stock of damaged products. By reusing and upcycling existing materials into a stunning rose patchwork, this collection reduces waste and limits the use of natural resources, proving that through creativity and a circular approach, fashion’s ‘waste’ can be transformed back into beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces!
Vinny Castro is a New York based artist, accessory designer, and prop fabricator. His collection of sculptural handbags are inspired by ancient global phenomenon, vessel artifacts, and alien geology. Each piece is sculpted with recycled plastic, dyed and assembled by hand by Castro in Queens, New York. Wearable sculpture — each bag is a unique artifact.
A tote bag is a MUST when it comes to building your wardrobe. Now, larger-than-life designer tote bags are stepping into the spotlight. Think jumbo, oversized carryalls perfect for holding an extra pair of shoes, a water bottle, and even a laptop. Go Big or Go HOME! In JW Pei’s motives to create an earth day collection for bags were created from 100% post consumer polyester and plastic bottles.
Worn by Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, and Lily Rose Depp , this chic bag is made out of 100% Polyurethane — a sustainable material which produces a very small amount of CO2 emissions, so its environmental impact is reduced. Fashion shouldn’t cost the Earth!
